Q. Are Carabeans safe for climbing?
A. NO! We intentionally made them a different shape and style from the traditional climbing clips so you wouldn’t accidentally stick them in your climbing pack on a dark and sleepy day. They are not intended to hold that kind of weight-i.e. you or your children. If you have questions about proper climbing gear, I recommend asking a firefighter. Why not?
Q. What are some different uses for my Carabean?
A. Use it for anything! Clip it to strollers, carseats, shopping carts... anywhere you need a free hand! Creativity gets extra points here-see the TIPS page...
Q. What’s under the rubber?
A. Aluminum. Strong and resilient. Just like you.
Q. Where are Carabeans manufactured?
A. China. However we employ third party testing in the United States, for a little extra reassurance.
Q. Are Carabeans safe if my child puts it in his mouth?
A. Carabeans are made of lead free, child safe paint. However we do not recommend they be used in place of a teething ring or without adult supervision. Or by you on a stressful day.
